Silver "Eye Of Horus" with 14K Gold Eye
By George Sterpka
The Ancient Egyptian Culture has facinated me since I was a child. I was amazed by their work with metals, especially gold. Now that I have been working with metals, I am more impressed with their accomplishments.
Most people do not know that silver was more rare in Ancient Egyptian times, so they used it less.
I created this pendant for my wife from silver wire, sheet and a gold bead that I made.
The eye is 25mm by 25mm, making it a square composition. The Baile adds 7mm
to its height.
