Wire Wrap
The SMS is fortunate to have a gifted wire-wrap artist who is willing to share his techniques through group, hands-on instruction. President Kevin Beguhl has a unique wrapping style that is popular throughout the Sacramento area and has been accepted as an artist in the 2006 KVIE Art Auction; Kevin has again had a piece accepted for the 2007 KVIE Auction, as did his 6-year old daughter, Katerina!
Kevin is currently leading wire-wrap workshops twice a month. Whether you are a beginner or have tried your hand at wire wrapping before, come join the workshop at any time and have some fun. Contact Kevin at (916) 459-7556 to confirm the date of the next class.
Tools are available for use and Kevin has an abundance of both gold-filled and sterling silver wire available for purchase at each workshop.
Regular $7.00 shop fee plus nominal fee for wire.
